Summer 2020 WordPress/LMS Internship – Remote
Scope
In this five-week remote internship, the intern will work on projects ranging from helping build a learning management system (LMS – Learn Dash), creating blog entries on WordPress, SEO company website, creating posts on social media and other administrative tasks.
Projects
- Build framework for a set of online courses, tests, quizzes within LMS platform (*curriculum content already created)
- Create targeted social media content marketing Gainfully’s services
- Write and edit short bi-weekly topical blog entries
- Update client lists and track client progress through the Gainfully program
- Identify and qualify internship and job postings tailored to specific client’s targets and upload them into each client’s job/internship search tracker
- Build internal tracking documents with an eye towards streamlining processes
- Assist with resume and cover letter creation and edits
- Assist in optimizing and enhancing client’s LinkedIn profile
Requirements
- Experience with several learning management software (LMS) platforms from the back-end (preferably LearnDash LMS.)
- Experience creating engaging content with Canva
- Experience with updating websites built on WordPress
- Well versed in Google Drive: creating/sharing Docs and Google Forms
- Strong writing, editing and research skills
- Proactive self-starter who is resourceful and has excellent collaboration skills
- Experience with gamification for learning a plus
